Pledge to Pick

This year the message is simple. Show you #LoveWhereYouLive by pledging to pick up as much litter as you can from 21 March to 6 April 2025.     

Pledging to take part in the Great British Spring Clean couldn’t be easier, simply pledge as an individual, a group (such as a faith or community group, litter-picking group, Scouts, Brownies, business etc) or a school and let us know how many bags you pledge to pick up.   

Every individual act to protect the environment makes a difference, but when we all come together, the collective action has a huge impact - in fact, since 2016 more than four million bags have been pledged for the Great British Spring Clean!   

When you make your pledge you will receive an e-mail with some free digital resources, including draft social media posts, to help you activate the campaign and advice on how to keep safe during your litter-pick.
