Philippa Anderson

Board Member

Philippa is a communications consultant and business writer who began her career in marketing, after completing a business degree. She has worked with corporate clients such as 3M, Barclays, Coca-Cola, Marks & Spencer, and Tesco on corporate responsibility initiatives and change management programmes. She has written and contributed to business books, including Dorling Kindersley's The Business Book and Management in Minutes, published by Quercus. She is a member of the Society of Authors.

She is a Governor of Manchester Metropolitan University, rated the UK’s No. 1 most sustainable university, and has held several voluntary roles - including trustee for SeeAbility, working with Save the Children, and volunteer teacher in Southeast Asia refugee camps for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).

Philippa is passionate about sustainability and the environment. In her own words, "Keep Britain Tidy has public recognition of more than 80%; people see us as the experts in improving our environment - from parks to beaches, towns to countryside. This strong awareness helps us engage people in improving public spaces through partnership working, education, and behaviour change."
