About this clean-up:

Once again we are asking the Shirehampton community to come together and take responsibility for cleaning up our streets and public spaces. There is plenty of litter to pick up but if we work together we can make light work of it. You will be surprised how much can be picked up in just half an hour. Bristol Waste will be supporting us by coming to pick the litter up once we've bagged it up. We will be aiming to separate it out to ensure as much of it is recycled as possible. There are the usual hotspots we can focus on - the High Street, Penpole Ridge and around the Academy - but feel free to tackle wherever you think needs it. Perhaps you can form a group to tidy up your nearby park or street?
