Network Awards 2019

Last night members of the Keep Britain Tidy network joined industry experts, #LitterHeroes and celebrity ambassadors from across the UK to celebrate their successes at the 2019 Keep Britain Tidy network conference awards.

This year the awards were hosted at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, the home of our first ever Tidy City partnership, and a stunning evening was had by all. The awards were hosted by BBC correspondent Dave Guest, and celebrity ambassador and passionate advocate for the Great British countryside Julia Bradbury.

During the evening we heard success stories from all of the nominees who have consistently continued to go above and beyond to make Britain’s streets cleaner, greener and safer in the face of continued pressure on local authority resources.

We’re proud to announce the evenings' worthy winners across each category were;

Young #LitterHero Award: Elizabeth Gadsdon - Wirral Council

Community Engagement Award: Leigh Waste Amnesty - Wigan Council
