Our award categories
We are celebrating hard work and dedication across eight fantastic categories this year. Here is a brief look at the types of excellence we recognise:
- Community Engagement Award: Recognises initiatives that empower communities to improve their local environment, celebrating collaborative efforts that achieve lasting environmental impact.
- Education and Enforcement Excellence Award: Honours an individual or team who excels in enforcement while prioritising education and engagement in their approach.
- Climate Action Award: Recognises innovative projects that achieve a significant reduction in resource use or carbon emissions, supporting net-zero goals.
- Outstanding Service Award (Members Only): This exclusive award honours projects that have improved service quality and the local environment, delivering better results despite ongoing challenges.
- Team of the Year Award: Honours a team that consistently delivers exceptional service, demonstrating strong teamwork, leadership, and a positive impact on their community.
- Environmental Action Award: Recognises a campaign or project that has significantly improved the local environment through a targeted behaviour change campaign or delivered environmental transformation with a strong evidence base.
- Innovation in Green Space Award: Honours an exceptional park or green space that inspires local residents and visitors to enjoy and protect this valuable resource.
- Volunteer Engagement Award: Celebrates organisations that recognise and nurture the power of community volunteers dedicated to local environmental sustainability.
