Strategy Development

We recommend that authorities have up-to-date strategies in place to help them take a comprehensive approach to issues including littering, fly-tipping, graffiti and waste prevention.

Such documents are an excellent place to communicate the issues that you are facing and the actions that you will take to address them.  This can help residents and partner organisations to understand your concerns and increase their engagement with the subject.  A published strategy will also improve your ability to access funding and justify your decision-making.

Timely monitoring and reviews of existing strategies will enable you to identify when a different approach might be required.  They can also help you to identify successes, communicate these to your stakeholders and maintain their engagement.

We offer authorities and their partner organisations bespoke support for their strategy development and implementation work.  This might range from insight and evidence gathering, the monitoring and review of existing strategies, through to the full development of a new strategy written on your behalf.

We are also able to act as expert witnesses to support the adoption of strategies and defend their implementation.
