Creating Kerb Appeal

^

At a time when public services in the places we live and work are being severely cut, it is more important than ever to manage the local environment around neighbourhoods efficiently and effectively.

Changes in the social housing sector brought new standards to be met by social housing providers and opportunities to impact on the management of estates and neighbourhoods.

We are well-known for expertise in managing cleanliness of streets and open spaces and also for working with communities on initiatives and campaigns. This course utilises this expertise and draws on research and practical programmes to inform the content.

Community surveying

^

This interactive practical day course is aimed at your volunteer residents who give up their time to make a difference to their own local community and support the local authority in the tasks needed to create clean places within communities and local areas.

It aims to provide delegates with knowledge and skills to understand standards of cleanliness and environmental issues within their local environment in order for them to carry out an inspection and grading survey within their neighbourhood.
