First published at age 11 and speaking on Jack Petchey platforms by 14, Vanessa Maselino has since gone on become the Founder and active Chief Executive for the youth-led Environmental & Lifestyle magazine, BASEMNT LTD. As a Freelance Writer and Speaker, Vanessa frequently consults on the topics of Sustainable Living, Conscious Entrepreneurialism and Consumer Mindsets.

With an academic background in the Creative Industries, and subsequent qualifications in Marketing and Events Management, Vanessa’s most recent ventures include the launch of sponsored Plastic and Waste-free community events; in partnership with responsible brands and known sustainability advocates.

Forging a creative network with international reach, Vanessa’s ultimate passion is to use these resources to contribute to positive changes within UK Consumer Consumption, and raise visibility for marginalised groups within the Eco-movements.
