Thank you park-lovers for getting out and enjoying your local green space. And thank you for entering our #LoveParksComp and sharing why you love your local park. We'll be announcing the winners of the five £100 wilko vouchers soon.

Over the campaign week Love Parks Week received over 10,200 mentions on social media. Through your messages, posts, photos and videos the campaign reached millions of people - showing just how much parks mean to everyone.

We'd like to share a special thank you to all the local authorities, park managers and community groups, who ran events, spread the word about the campaign and work so tirelessly everyday protecting and improving local green spaces.

The campaign may be over for this year, but we will continue campaigning for and working to support parks and green spaces. Remember, your local green space is there for you to enjoy year round, for the thousands of reasons people shared this #LoveParks Week.
