Senior Researcher

We are looking for a Senior Researcher to join our award winning Centre for Social Innovation team

Location: Wigan or London office with occasional travel across England

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week (4 days per week will be considered)

Salary: £27,580 (Wigan) / £29,580 (London) per annum FTE

Contract:  Permanent

Our award-winning Centre for Social Innovation is one of the world’s leading waste and litter behaviour research organisations, focussing on developing, piloting and scaling new solutions in partnership with private, public and academic sectors. The work of Keep Britain Tidy has never been more informed, important and urgent.

Keep Britain Tidy is looking for a Senior Researcher to join its Centre for Social Innovation team to help design, develop and deliver research projects and trials to change behaviour to prevent litter, reduce waste and improve local places.  

This is an exciting role within a fast-paced team. The work is interesting, challenging and varied. The successful applicant will have direct experience of managing and delivering social research/action research projects, with excellent analytical, research and report writing skills. You will be required to manage multiple projects at any one time and ensure that they are robust, delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget. You will be an effective communicator and enjoy working collaboratively. You will be a self-starter and passionate about creating positive change for society and the environment.
