Angela Smith-Morgan

Board Member

Angela Smith-Morgan is currently CEO of the Elimination of Leukaemia Fund (ELF), a grant-making charity that focuses on research and patient-orientated projects in blood cancer.  She was Executive Director of HERA, a human trafficking charity, which she built into a nationally recognised, broadly funded organisation.

A strategy consultant by background, Angela specialised in SME strategic growth programmes, initially with Business Link, where she developed an expertise with family business ownership teams and then with a private consultancy where she managed funded programmes for local councils and large public sector bodies.

In Angela's own words, “There has been a surge in interest in the environment and an understanding that it is a personal issue and not just a council or government one. Keep Britain Tidy is ahead of that trend, as shown with the success of our Great British Spring Clean campaign and the nine billion fewer plastics bags used since the introduction of the bag charge. The public and our supporters expect the best business standards and management practices from Keep Britain Tidy and trust us to use our values and shared vision to make us a more efficient organisation.”
