Green Key

We are known for accrediting the country’s best beaches, schools and green spaces. Now we run the Green Key award in England – celebrating the most sustainably-run hotels and venues.

Running worldwide, 4,000+ establishments currently hold the award across 60+ countries, including 100 Green Key-awarded establishments in England. So whether you are home or away, you can continue making greener choices by staying at a Green Key hotel.

"When you stay in a Green Key hotel, you are reducing your environmental footprint by staying somewhere that makes more sustainable choices.”

- Allison Ogden-Newton, Chief Executive, Keep Britain Tidy

Green Key is managed by Keep Britain Tidy on behalf of the Foundation for Environmental Education.
