National Enforcement academy

This WAMITAB-accredited enforcement training is suitable for those responsible for enforcing environmental crime. We aim to develop a common and consistent enforcement approach across England.

Delegates are steered though the process of environmental enforcement, conflict management, environmental legislation and its application in practice. The highlight is a real life case held in a magistrate’s court, where delegates role play and are cross-examined by barristers to gain experience of giving oral evidence in court.

It is delivered by our legal expert, an experienced and practising solicitor with a strong background in environmental legislation and enforcement.

"Superb course, very beneficial, left feeling confident and valued."

What next?

On completion of the five day course, you will be required to complete an online test before being awarded your certificate. After two years, we recommend delegates return for a refresher to ensure that they are still operating at a suitable level and are up-to-date with any changes to legislation.
