Inspiring, passionate and ready for action ...

... Our #LitterHeroes Ambassadors

29/06/18

Last weekend over 60 of our fantastic #LitterHeroes Ambassadors came together in London to meet each other, get to know the Keep Britain Tidy team, share ideas, make links and be inspired.

And now these passionate people have gone home – back to their towns, cities and villages all across the country – to inspire others and take action to clean up our country.

Our new #LitterHeroes Ambassadors were selected for the great things they’ve already achieved and their big plans for the future. We’ll be helping and supporting them to turn their fantastic ideas into reality – thanks to support from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Watch this space as we share stories from these enthusiastic Ambassadors as they inspire others, take action, and ultimately change the world by improving the environment on their doorsteps – their local parks, the neighbourhood thy live in, the local school or the river running nearby.

Keep Britain Tidy’s Chief Executive Allison Ogden-Newton said,

“While we should all care for the environment on our doorstep, there are some people who go above and beyond – supporting and inspiring others with their passion and infectious enthusiasm.

“That’s why we are delighted that these dedicated individuals are joining us as our first #LitterHeroes Ambassadors. Thanks to support from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery, we are now able to give a helping hand to some of these amazing individuals as they inspire others and take action to clean up our country.”

Laura Chow, Head of Charities at People’s Postcode Lottery, said:

“It’s fantastic that so many ambassadors will be helping clean up streets in communities across the nation with support from players. This is a brilliant initiative by Keep Britain Tidy and we hope it’s a sweeping success.”
