It is one of the business opportunities set up by Eco-Schools Energy, a partnership between Eco-Schools and Winch Energy, that offers schools a chance to embed sustainability into the way schools operate and to provide a learning opportunity for students.
Eco-Schools Energy LED lighting is offering schools an opportunity to create a better learning environment by investing in a new system of lighting for the school that makes both environmental and financial sense. While at the same time gives schools access to a series of teaching ideas, which will inspire learning.

Without any up-front funding, schools can expect to;

The programme will offer operating lease funding and free surveys to the first 100 schools selected for the programme and applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis. Other funding options are also considered and there is no commitment associated with registering.
