Switch-Off Fortnight is back for 2012

We are pleased to announce that registration for Switch-Off Fortnight, the Pod’s hugely popular national energy awareness campaign is now open!

Switch-Off Fortnight is a fantastic way to get your whole school working together and what’s more, the Pod will help you track and measure any potential savings you make helping you with your monitoring and evaluation efforts. The Pod’s energy related lesson plans are also really useful for introducing the energy topic to your classes.

Last year over 4400 schools took part and we would encourage all Eco-Schools to sign up to the campaign and use it as evidence towards your next Eco-Schools award.

Switch-Off Fortnight will be taking place 19 November - 2 December 2012 and the first 5,000 schools that sign up to take part will receive a free campaign pack. Last year the packs were oversubscribed so visit the Pod and sign your school up to Switch-Off Fortnight now!
