Create your own radio commercial with U Create

Eco-Schools and Keep Britain Tidy have teamed up with U Create for a new project.

U Create is an e-learning platform which students can use to create radio commercials about the charity’s Love Where You Live campaign and its drive to encourage people to clean up the country ahead of the Olympics this summer.

U Create provides students of all ages and abilities with direct hands-on access to the world of work. Students can work to real briefs from well known businesses and charities, like Keep Britain Tidy, and create adverts, podcasts, jingles etc that are then pitched back to the businesses in a real marketplace and timeline.

Students learn about the working environment and the industries involved in whilst developing confidence, literacy skills all linked to the curriculum in English, ICT and Media.

The U Create project from UTV Media (who own the talkSPORT radio station) is free to use and will be available to you and your students shortly after registering.
