Inspiring Generations - Creating a Sustainable Legacy

The 2012-2013 Eco-Schools Conferences "Inspiring Generations - Creating a Sustainable Legacy" will explore how young people can contribute to a sustainable legacy through reaching outside the classroom, using and improving green space and fostering links with the wider community.

All of this can be supported through the Eco-Schools/Eco-Homes framework, and will have benefits to your school as well as your wider surroundings.

Behaviour change and good practice learnt in schools will spill out into children’s homes and their wider local communities. Positive lasting change is needed to inspire our future generations as they are beacons/leaders of good practice for our communities.

Topics covered in the conferences will include how Eco-Schools can help improve a sustainable legacy within your school and in the local community.  Featuring presentations and workshops from sustainability and community engagement experts, the day will be sure to inform and inspire.  There will also be ample opportunity to hear from our flagship Green Flag Ambassador schools, network with other attendees, and receive guidance and advice from the Eco-Schools team.

The fee of £99 & vat includes attendance at all the conference sessions, lunch and refreshments and online access to all the presentations after the event.
