Eco-Schools and the Pod joint ezine

Read all the latest goings on from Eco-Schools and the Pod in our joint online magazine.

These ezines are packed full of facts, tips and activities for learning about the environment, as well as case studies from other schools eco-work. We hope this interactive magazine will engage and enthuse students, both in and out of the Eco-Committee, about a range of environmental topics. Also included are important eco dates, competitions and quick links to sources of funding and offers.

    Within this issue we tell you everything you need to know about Switch-Off Fortnight and introduce you to the Pod's new waste activity. We take a look at what you need to be growing in the garden this autumn and have a look at an Eco-Schools Green Flag Assessment taking place. You can also download a range of quick activities including Key Stage 1, 2, 3 Electric Car resources.

Our newsletters contain all the latest news from Eco-Schools, Keep Britain Tidy, as well as our partners and friends. Each month they feature details of Eco-Schools training and conferences, a Green Flag Application tip of the month, upcoming National Awareness Days, as well as links to other organisations and resources to help you on your Eco-Schools journey.

    Free Eco-Schools Energy Service launches, pupils share their eco-wishes for 2012, get details of the Pod's new waste campaign, join the Climate Initiative 2012, and get involved with the Close the Door campaign.
