Monken Hadley's school council took the lead in getting their school their Green Flag. They've involved the whole school in monitoring energy and growing their own, as well as working closely with their headteacher.

Saltaire Primary aimed to increase pupil participation by involving everyone in the school. Their One World Week allowed them to do this whilst consolidating many of the activities and campaigns they were already doing. All the great work they've been doing helped them get their Green Flag.

Read about how Heald Place Primary School worked towards achieving their Eco-Schools Green Flag. Their 'Energy Enforcers' monitor the school and award pints to those classes that are the most energy efficient. Pupils have also worked towards a carbon literacy award with 88 pupils reaching the standard required to effectively communicate about the causes of climate change and how everyone can work to reduce it.

East Ruston School worked with parents and the wider community to create a wildflower meadow and haven for wildlife in an unused meadow behind their school. The meadow is now utilised by community groups as well as being used for outdoor learning .

This school have focused on doing their bit to tackle climate change, and have shared what they've learnt as widely as possible. Every child has been involved in food growing and their local biodiversity. Through working together, the project has achieved some amazing results and is an inspiration to other schools.
