Their 'Energy Enforcers' monitor the school and award pints to those classes that are the most energy efficient. Pupils have also worked towards a carbon literacy award with 88 pupils reaching the standard required to effectively communicate about the causes of climate change and how everyone can work to reduce it.

    East Ruston School worked with parents and the wider community to create a wildflower meadow and haven for wildlife in an unused meadow behind their school. The meadow is now utilised by community groups as well as being used for outdoor learning .
