Composting workshop in Cheshire 15 June 2017
Tempted to give composting a go but don't know where to start?
The Cheshire Waste Reduction Volunteers - working on behalf of Keep Britain Tidy and Cheshire West and Chester Council are running a workshop to help.
 
This light,informal workshop is designed for people who want to start composting, or who are already composting but unsuccessfully.
The session will include:

Why compost?
Compost bins- types and details for how to access reduced price bins
What you can and can't compost
How you mix those ingredients together to make compost
Troubleshooting advice
Worms and other composting animals
Harvesting and using compost

The workshop will have a maximum of 10 people attending and so you will have the chance to ask our knowledgeable volunteers any questions about composting. 
We will provide each participant with a composting advice booklet, packet of seeds, flyer for reduced price compost bin and tips on where to look for future guidance.

There is a £3 charge for this workshop, please bring cash on the day
