Litter champion Jessica Ennis triumphs in Berlin

Athlete Jessica Ennis may already have a gold star for her efforts at stopping litter but this week she proved why she really is a champion by winning Gold at the 2009 World Championships.
In 2008 Jessica urged Londoners to join her in the Capital Clean-up campaign in preparation for the eyes of the world being on the city for the 2012 Olympics.
Sporting a ‘London needs you’ T-shirt, she said: "London attracts around 27 million visitors each year and cleanliness of streets is one of the first things people notice when they go to a new place. Londoners are very proud of their city and we want them to play their part in making the capital the cleanest city on earth."
The golden girl is now preparing to become the face of British athletics at the 2012 Olympics in the very city that she has helped to clean up!
