Keep Britain TIdy won the Charity Awards at the Green Awards

The stars were shining brightly on Keep Britain Tidy last night as our campaigns were recognised at both ends of the country in two award ceremonies!

At the Green Awards In London we picked up the best Social Enterprise Award for our renowned Dirty Pig campaign as well as becoming the overall winner of the ceremony, that was hosted by Strictly Come Dancing contender Jo Wood.

Back in Manchester the recognition continued at the North West Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Pride Awards, where the media team took the silver award in two categories for the rubber bands ‘bands re-united’ and ‘brands lying in a gutter near you’ news stories .

Natalie Forrester, Marketing Co-ordinator said, "It was so exciting to win the best in category for our food on the go campaign, but we couldn't believe it when we won the overall Grand Prix prize. We were up against organisations such as Sony, British Gas and Marks & Spencers, so it was a real achievement."

Dickie Felton, Media & Communications Manager commented, "It is great to see so much of our hard work recognised by achieving all these awards.  We are busy planning some very exciting stories for next year so that we can keep our trophy cabinet stocked up!"

And at the end of the night the carriage turned into a pumpkin and they all went home..
