Keep Britain Tidy launches Vintage Collectables range

24 October 2012

Keep Britain Tidy is brightening up homes and offices across the country by launching a series of vintage metal art posters based on their advertising campaigns from the last 50 years.

The charity has teamed up with Derivative Works to create unique posters and fridge magnets based on and inspired by Keep Britain Tidy's memorable and iconic advertising campaigns of yesteryear featuring ABBA, Morecambe and Wise, the Bee Gees and, of course, the Wombles.

The bespoke images have been specially commissioned in glazed galvanised steel as a first edition series of 17 pieces which are on sale now from the Keep Britain Tidy website. The collection features an image of ABBA posing with mops and marigolds to encourage the nation to keep train stations clean. In other posters, Donald Duck slips on a banana skin and the Bee Gees stand in a retro yellow bin with the iconic Tidyman logo printed on the front.

They make ideal gifts, collectors’ pieces or artistic works and these stunning and characterful works make impressive artistic statements to enhance any décor scheme, setting, venue or event.

Not only will the pieces brighten up offices, public buildings and living rooms but all proceeds from the sale of the collectables will go straight to Keep Britain Tidy, helping us to continue campaigning and raising awareness.
