How do I apply for an Award?
If you feel that your park/green space meets the Judging Criteria for the Green Flag Award® you can apply for an award.
Online application
The online application is a 12-step form. You can save pages as you proceed through your application, before finally submitting it by the closing date at the end of January. You will be informed of the outcome of your application by letter in July.
You will be required to provide electronic documentation with your application. These will need to be PDF or Word documents (maximum 10MB). If you do not have electronic versions, you will need to send paper copies to support your application.

Please note that you can only apply for Green Heritage Site Accreditation if your site is in England and you are applying for a Green Flag Award.
You can apply for the Special Award for Innovation in all countries if you are applying for a Green Flag Award® or a Green Flag Community Award®.
