Course Aims
This course aims to highlight the importance of developing a street scene service strategy, and demonstrates the value of having an effective strategy properly in place.
Delegates will receive training that introduces them to the range of issues that should be covered by a good street scene strategy, and the course will also go over methods of ensuring effective service delivery and improving the management of the local environment.

- Identify the elements integral to a good street scene service strategy;
- Improve the management of their local environment;

Who would benefit by attending this course?
This training course is aimed at Local Authority Officers and Managers who are involved in the development and implementation of street scene service strategies or local environmental management, and in town planning & design.
Delegates should already have some knowledge of the issues encompassed by street scene and local environmental management. The course will also be valuable to those who are responsible for staff involved in activities related to service delivery and cleansing at an operational level.
Members with an interest in local environmental management, and partnership working will also find this course beneficial.
