Our Keep Britain Tidy Business Awards have been designed to help local authorities and other land managers work with the businesses in their area to improve their waste management practices and meet their statutory obligations.
The awards assist land managers in raising awareness of how businesses should collect, store and dispose of their waste lawfully and, what’s more, can improve the image of the business economy in your area, creating a safer and more inviting environment for customers.

Join the awards programme
If you would like to become a partner and administer the scheme, the basic Keep Britain Tidy Business Awards pack comprises:
• One partner support pack
• Two full days of tailored support providing training and guidance for scheme managers and business assessors
• 200 leaflets for businesses, explaining the Keep Britain Business Awards programme
• 100 business packs, for businesses that wish to apply for an award
• Window stickers and award certificates for successful businesses
The awards provide excellent media opportunities for partners to get waste handling, anti-litter and reduce-reuse-recycle messages to business owners and the public.
There is also the opportunity for partners to be entered for a national award that rewards excellence of implementation and participation.
The Keep Britain Tidy Business Awards provides landowners with an important opportunity to engage productively with all sectors of their business community.
It is a non-confrontational approach to environmental responsibility based on compliance and co-operation that can work independently or alongside an enforcement programme.
