Keep Britain Tidy works with local authorities, housing associations and others with a responsibility for cleaning their land, to provide bespoke surveys. We can help you measure, monitor and manage the state of your local environment so that you can deliver better cleansing services and create a nicer environment for all who live there and visit.
Keep Britain Tidy has developed a specialist training package to ensure that your employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to carry out environmental management effectively.
Our District Local Environmental Quality Survey (DLEQS) is a three year programme that will train Local Authority staff to deliver monitoring to a government approved standard and identify areas of improvement. Based on the methodology used in our national survey, this programme allows users to compare their performance directly against regional and national benchmarks. We can also provide Small Area Surveys to focus on problem areas such as town centres, business improvement districts and major event locations. And ultimately you are likely to see a positive impact on NI 195 returns and your Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) rating.
We also have an Estate version of the programme (ELEQS) to offer a specialist monitoring package to Housing Association and other registered social landlords. By taking up this programme we can help you increase staff training and motivation, improve efficiency and effectiveness and increase co-operation between different cleansing departments.
