Shared learning
The North West Liveability Foundation programme offers a range of opportunities to share best practice, including network meetings, action learning days and the annual regional North West Liveability Foundation conference.
Network meetings
The network meetings give participants the opportunity to discuss the programme and the progress that has been made to date, to share information on any projects that partners may be working on, present their latest achievements to the group and make suggestions for topics to be covered by future action learning days. They also provide an opportunity for (expert) speakers to be invited by the partners to conduct a presentation on chosen topics or issues.
Action learning days
Action learning days offer the opportunity for participants to work together through a structured programme of learning, facilitated by Keep Britain Tidy. The learning days focus on an agreed common issue and the sessions are designed to encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience, encourage the development of innovative solutions and the initiation of joint working to improve the local environmental quality across the region. Expert witnesses will be invited to these full day sessions permitting the scrutiny of their own solutions to the chosen issue, exploring the options and assisting in the scoping out of bespoke solutions.
Annual regional North West Liveability Foundation conference
One regional conference will be provided per year where delegates will have the opportunity to network, hear about the progress across the programme and engage with national and regional speakers on relevant cleaner safer greener topics.
