Here is more information on the elements which make up the North West Liveability Foundation programme. Click on the links below to find out more.
- Annual survey
Small area surveys are carried out across a target area with defined boundaries such as town centres, housing areas, main retail parks and surrounding areas. The surveys for the programme will be delivered over an area of the partners’ choice (usually a “poorer performing” area) within the partners’ remit. A baseline survey is conducted during year one of the membership and repeated at the same time of year for each continued year of membership.
- Perception study
Each partner will receive two bespoke market research studies aimed at analysing the perceptions of residents or users of an area selected by the partner. The surveys will involve assessing perceptions to enable more effective targeting of services or communications.
- Sharing best practice
The North West Liveability Foundation programme offers a range of opportunities to share best practice, including network meetings, action learning days and the annual regional North West Liveability Foundation conference.
- Supporting you to take action
Through the North West Liveability Foundation programme, Keep Britain Tidy can assist you in making improvements to your local area. Some of the opportunities available include action planning, an annual one-to-one meeting with a Keep Britain Tidy Director, and the opportunity to work alongside the Regional Strategic Group.
- Membership to the Keep Britain Tidy Network
The principle aim of the Keep Britain Tidy Network is to assist local authorities and other land managers to improve performance in local environmental quality. This is achieved through delivery of an inter-active framework of products and learning opportunities.
