  We need to educate people to either bin their litter or take it home with them, especially the young and then they will grow up doing the right thing. Make people embarassed to drop litter. Have loads of ads on the telly and jingles on the radio so it is on people's minds. Make people think you wouldn't litter your living room so why your countryside, TAKE YOUR RUBBISH HOME. And please BBC don't let me see people on Eastenders dropping rubbish on the floor!

  Hi Nichola, Thanks for your comment. We target all forms of litter dropping. This is only one of many campaigns that we have run and will be running in the future. Car litter is particularly dangerous as anything thrown from a moving vehicle will always be a hazard to other drivers and road users such a cyclists.

  Reporting drivers for dropping litter? absolutely ridiculous - i agree as a nation we need to have more respect for the place we live but I do not understand why car owners are being targetted again. Is the little dropped from a car suddenly more toxic and dangerous to the environment than dropeed by someone walking down the street? no but because drivers can be identified lets slap a fine and some points on their liscence!! ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!!!!!!!! I agree with Fish Head lets punish the people who commit real crimes by making them pick it up!!
