What We Think
Dog and Animal Fouling
Dog fouling is not only unpleasant, it’s dangerous.
Local authorities have responded well to the problem of dog fouling with targeted campaigns, the provision of dog wardens and dog bins. Keep Britain Tidy believes that this has contributed to the reduction in levels of dog fouling across England between 2001 and 2007.
Local authorities, however, must do more to adopt the power to issue fixed penalty notices
