Free concert tickets for fans after beach clean up 26 June 2014

Ahead of this year’s Corona SunSets Festival, taking place in Weston-Super-Mare on 5 July, Corona and Blue Flag are offering music fans the chance to get their hands on free tickets to the festival in return for cleaning up the local shores.

The clean-up will take place on Wednesday 2 July between 5 - 8pm ahead of the weekend festival. Anyone who is over 18 and interested in volunteering should e-mail volunteering@keepbritaintidy.org for more information.

Following the clean-up, the first 200 volunteers will then be awarded a free ticket to the festival.

The festival will be taking place on the beachfront in Weston-Super-Mare with the line-up including Annie Mac, Disclosure DJ Set and Rob da Bank. There will also be interactive activities including an ultimate DJ talent competition with prizes including an artist management deal or releasing an official single.

Lynsey Atherton, Blue Flag Award Co-ordinator at Keep Britain Tidy, commented:

"Blue Flag have joined forces with Corona to share their passion for quality coastal environments. The clean up will show just how much people care about protecting the coast from the impacts of litter. Removing this waste is crucial to improving the environment, and the support of local volunteers is vital to achieving this. The clean-up event should provide a rewarding day for the volunteers”.
